Each nonbasic land is a Desert with
"{t}: Add {c}" and loses all other abilities,
card types, and land types.
Whenever a nonbasic land is tapped for
mana, its controller puts a -1/-1 counter on
a creature they control. This ability only triggers once each turn for each player.
